Your wedding announcement will include the story of your wedding from your first meeting to the honeymoon. Please use the form fields below to help us tell your story in your own words. Oklahoma Magazine staff will copyedit your work; however, we do need your help. Please check the spelling of all proper names and any unusual words, such as flower and fabric names. It’s always a good idea to have at least one other person – someone who is familiar with your wedding and family – read your work. Happy writing!

1. Briefly describe how you met and your courtship. Include the bride and groom’s hometowns and other pertinent details, such as high schools or colleges attended. How did the groom propose? Describe the ring.

2. Tell us about shopping for your dress. Please give a detailed description of the dress you chose. Describe the bridesmaid dresses and groom/groomsmen attire.

3. Tell us about the colors and theme you chose for the wedding. What was the inspiration? Describe the florals used for bouquets and the ceremony.

4. Describe the wedding ceremony. Where was it held? Describe any special elements or moments.

5. Tell us about the reception. Where was it held? Describe the décor, food and drink and entertainment. Tell us about any special moments or traditions.

6. What did the couple do for the honeymoon, and where will they reside.
